Update on Cassie

Cassie went to the doctor last week...they did a "stat" ultrasound to find out how far along she is. Folks...I almost fell off my chair when the nurse said she was 22 weeks, 2 days...that's 5 1/2 months...sheesh! It makes her due date November 10th. Bad news is that being that far along she's missed a few important tests that needed to be done. Don't know what the doctor will do now. The ultrasound tech also said it was a boy...although, I don't put much faith in that test. I think they will be doing an amnio since she's so far along.

Fishing update...no pictures...actually, there was only 1 fish caught so far, and it was caught by Glenn. I only went out on Saturday night (well, really it was Sunday morning, because we got on the water at 4 am). Let me tell you...I got so seasick, it was horrible. I spent about an hour in the cabin, until I finally asked Glenn to take me in. The waves were supposed to be 1-2 feet...they were more like 3-4 with some 5's thrown in. That boat was throwing everyone around like they were dolls.

Needless to say, I won't be going out there for quite awhile, unless there is absolutely no wind...and no waves!!!

That's about all the exciting news on the homefront. I'm hoping to get a picture soon of Cassie...she actually doesn't even look pregnant...I could slap her...I was in maternity clothes at 2 months!!!

Have a wonderful week all!

Hugz,

Michele

That was a bit of a shock for both of you at the doctors, even if she has missed some test I am sure it will be fine. I think I would be sick to if the waves were that choppy. Take care all of. best wishes Julie.C

Oh my gosh...you are gonna be a Grammy in November! I hope she doesn't have to get an amnio though..I had one of those and they are very uncomfortable. Plus, the doctors told me my son was going to be born with Down's after that test, and he wasn't. I think instinct counts more than anything else. Continued prayers your way!

Hey Michele,

Can't say I'd blame ya for wanting to get off that boat and outta the choppy water...I'd be the same way!

I'm sure everything will be fine with Cassie. (But I do hope she doesn't have to do the amnio - had one when I was pregnant with Taylor - very uncomfortable.)

Thanks for your sweet words about Tyler's grad party. It was A LOT of work and we had a nice time but I'm SOOO glad it's over! lol

Hugs,
Michelle

Wishing the best that can be with your daughter's pregnancy. You're a good mom, and I am certain you will all get through it.

Sea sick, huh? Well, I am not a fan of boats either! :)

Congrats on becoming a Grammy--at least you won't have to wait too long. And a little boy, how great is that! Boys are the best. I have 4 grandsons so I know for sure! I was seasick once and that was enough for me. I didn't want to do it again!
